ACLS Humanities E-Book (HEB) is an online collection of approximately 3,700 e-books of high quality in the humanities and includes fields such as Archaeology, Art and Architectural History, Biblical Studies, Bibliographic Studies, Film and Media Studies, Folklore, Literature, Linguistics, Literary Criticism, Musicology, Performance Studies (, music, dance, and performance), Philosophy, Political Science, Religion, and Sociology. ACLS is composed of 25 learned societies that form the working group for Humanities E-Books. Contact your library for username and password.  
 

The African Digital Library has a collection of thousands of e-books that are freely available to users in Africa. The database requires individual registration in order to use its resources. The African Digital library covers several subject areas and can be acessed from anywhere over the internet.  
 

A key feature to the Africa Portal is the online library collection holding over 3000 books, journals, and digital documents related to African policy issues. The entire online repository is open access and available for free full-text download.  
 

The Alex Catalogue of Electronic Texts is a full-text indexed collection of classic American and English literature as well as Western philosophy in the public domain and written or translated into English.  
 

This archive is an attempt to collect in one place a large number of significant texts in the history of economic thought. Subjects covered include Economics and Economic History.
