Registered Midlands State University students and University Staff members have the unreserved right to use Library Resources. To enter into the Library one requires a valid Student ID card bearing one's name on it or a valid Staff ID Card. (Please note that it is an offence to use someone's ID card no matter the circumstances).
If one is a new member of staff or a new student, it is compulsary for them to get their ID cards from the ITS Department.
To use the Library one needs to be registered in the Library. Students do not need to visit the library for library registration as this is done automatically as soon the student has registered for that semester. Staff, however, have to visit the library, bringing with them confirmation of employment from the Human Resource Office and their national registration card.
