Harare Campus

Welcome Remarks

Welcome to the Midlands State University’s Harare Campus!

We are a vibrant hub of teaching, research, innovation and intellectual engagement.

The Harare Campus was established for ambitious people who refuse to stand still. Operating primarily as a Weekend School, we serve working professionals who balance careers, families and studies, and who understand that intellectual growth never stops. The Campus is also home to the School of Social Work, where post-A-Level students prepare for meaningful careers in service and social impact.

Our programmes span undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Arts and Humanities, Business Sciences, Social Sciences and Law. We also offer terminal qualifications such as PhDs and the Doctorate in Business Leadership (DBL). Wherever you are in your academic journey, there is a pathway at the Harare Campus to take you further.

At MSU Harare Campus, we go beyond education by equipping you for the real world. Guided by the nation’s Education 5.0 philosophy, our teaching and research is designed to make a real, material difference in society through innovation, and we invite you to be part of this transformative journey.

Every programme includes university-wide modules in Entrepreneurship, Information and Communication Technology, and Communication Skills. Therefore, whether you aspire to rise through the corporate ranks or build your own enterprise, these modules give you the essential tools to thrive in today’s competitive business and start-up environment.

Students are at the centre of everything we do, and your intellectual growth and welfare remain our cardinal priority. This journey, however, is a partnership: we provide the platform, and we ask you to bring the hard work, self-drive and integrity that turn opportunity into achievement.

Welcome to the MSU Harare Campus family.
