Research Board 2015 Achievements
• 17 academic staff were funded by the University to visit their supervisors for doctoral studies consultations. Two visits were to national institutions, one was international (India) and 14 were regional institutions. The funding was worth $13 499.
• 33 researchers received research grants worth $37 833.
• 25 academic staff were funded to present papers in national, regional and international conferences. The funding was worth $47 295
• Faculty seminar series and research workshops and the RIO-SET 2015, NUST, Bulawayo were funded ( $55 000.)
• The Midlands State University 1st International Research conference, 14-16 July 2015, Elephant Hills Resort, Victoria Falls was funded ( $75 000.)
